The MCFT Endorses Rob

Rob's influence on past students

Dear Mr. Seubert,

You were my third grade teacher, ten years ago, at Brooke Grove Elementary School. My name is Nina G. I am eighteen now and about to vote in the primary. A friend of mine who received the sample ballot, mentioned that she saw your name up for Board of Education. She wondered if it was you. She had remembered you mentioning that you would run for Board of Ed. after tenure. I found your web page through yahoo, and decided I should e-mail you. You were a great teacher, and I know you want what is best for the schools of Montgomery county. I remember doing class work in third grade, but I also remember you putting on Jimmy Buffet, and teaching us how to play rugby. Not enough teachers today know how to get that kind of respect from students, and to use it in the classroom as well. I just wanted to let you know you have my vote. I am not only voting for you because you were my third grade teacher, however, but I read what was on your web page and I agree with all the issues that you feel need to be confronted, and all of the changes that need to be made. I wish you the best of luck.

Sincerely,
Nina G

Hey Mr.Seubert,

As I was looking through my weekly Gazette I was very excited to see that you were running for the board of education. I'm not sure if you would remember me, but I was in your fourth grade class at Brooke Grove Elementary School. It was your first year at the school and you were a permanent sub for Ms.Rodriquez... I just wanted to let you know that you will definitely have my vote, as well as my family's, on February 12th. My sister is now a 5th grade teacher for MCPS... I am currently a business major at the University of Maryland...and out of all the teachers I've had through my years of school you were one of the few that truly had an impact on me. Good luck with everything.

Best,
Mary S
